Before the setup assistant starts, you need to log in to the SEEBURGER Cloud. If you don’t have a free account yet, you need to register. If you need help with the registration, have a look at the following information please.
After you have confirmed on our Welcome page (have a look at step 1 to find further information) that you want to exchange EDI messages with your customer via the SEEBURGER Cloud and clicked the Next button, the left screen will be opened.
The value of the field E-Mail address is pre-defined. All other fields need to be filled up by you. Please note that in the field “Company name” the exact and complete name of your company is entered. We will publish this entry in our B2B Directory to enable other partners of the SEEBURGER Cloud to find you to exchange electronic data with you. The B2B Directory is an open partner register to easily find and connect other partners who are already using the SEEBURGER Cloud. For that reason you need to enter your contact details as displayed on the screen at the left.
To proceed with registration, you must accept the following agreements:
During the registration process an account for your company will be created automatically. This gives your colleagues the opportunity to register with the SEEBURGER Cloud, take advantage of its benefits or work on tasks.
If there are several employees in your company who are responsible for EDI, your colleagues may also have received an invitation from our Setup Assistant. If you register more than one person for a company, the first (fastest) person is the company administrator. To run the setup wizard, you must have administrator rights. Only the administrator can nominate another employee account of the company as administrator. The company administrator can extend the rights of his colleagues in the “My Company” app. You will find the app on your screen right after logging in.

Requesting address data and your EDI Qualifiers

No IT knowledge is required to configure and use our SEEBURGER BIS Link as your Cloud Client. The client is pre-configured and automates the process of sending and receiving files with full security, data integrity, verification, encryption and traceability. You don’t have to worry about technical details. Certificate changes, master data or complicated network settings – you can leave it all to one side. The only thing you have to worry about is your firewall. Your Cloud Client must be allowed to retrieve the EDI data from the SEEBURGER Cloud. We are supporting AS2, OFTP2, SFTP and HTTPS. These technical communication protocols require a higher configuration effort on your side. Please ensure, that the “Common Name” (CN) of the TLS/SSL Certificate matches the host name of your system.

How to test your configuration
You received an invitation email from the Setup Assistant of the SEEBURGER Cloud. So, why did you receive this message and what’s to do now?
You received an invitation email from the SEEBURGER Cloud, because your customer wants to exchange business documents electronically with you. He decided to use the B2B Integration Service of the SEEBURGER Cloud. If you are interested in further information about the SEEBURGER Cloud, please click here. Your customer himself is already connected to the SEEBURGER Cloud. The exchange of electronic data is provided by the SEEBURGER Cloud and is free of charge for you.
The invitation email contains an URL, please click the URL to start the setup assistant. Please be not alarmed by the technical view of the URL. The URL has the following structure:
https ensures a secure http connection, portal.cloud.seeburger.de/suite is the address of the SEEBURGER Cloud, /public/!portal_cma_user-ext is the application that provides the setup assistant and [ID] is the unique key for your individual setup settings.
After you have clicked on the URL, a browser will be opened and the welcome page of the setup will be displayed.
The Welcome Page consists of two part:
The first part contains the introduction and information about the framework and the further procedure. The most important information on this section of the page is that the setup wizard doesn’t take long, it’s free for you and what benefits you get when you run the setup.
The second part requires the confirmation of your desire to configure your connection to the SEEBURGER Cloud and requests to click the Next button.
Of course you (and your customer) benefit from your connection with the SEEBURGER Cloud.
