On this page we would like to answer frequently asked questions about the SEEBURGER Cloud and the available Cloud Services.

About our Cloud Services

Our Cloud Services are offered as Public, Private and Mixed Cloud Services. The operating model of a Cloud Service is determined by the degree of individuality and available customization options.

Public Cloud Services are highly standardized, which you can either directly book and use in self-service, or get provided by us in a small integration project.

Private Cloud Services are operated in a private cell in our data center for particularly challenging and individual integration problems. These Cloud Services can not be directly booked and can only be inquired. Our specialists support you beyond the purely technical function of the Cloud Service with a range of flexibly combinable services, from 24/7 support to complete, all-round support from the operations team.

Mixed Cloud Services are based on private Cloud Services that call standardized service components of public Cloud Services to perform specific tasks. Mixed Cloud Services can only be inquired.

We have been offering our private Cloud Services since 2003, our Public Services since 2015.

  • Use of ISO 27001 certified data centers in Germany
  • ISO 27001 certified and ITIL compliant B2B processes
  • ISAE 3402 certified processes
  • Cloud contracts under German law and in accordance with the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Operation, service and support exclusively by SEEBURGER employees

During the continuous development of our applications we integrate actual technologies. For reaching best usability we recommend to always use modern browsers. SEEBURGER regularly tests the compatibility of its applications with the most common Web Browsers, typically identified by market shares and usage statistics.

Note, that browsers which are not listed here may also be compatible with our applications.

Book and use Cloud Services

Click on “Sign up” in the top right corner of the navigation bar to create an account for the SEEBURGER Cloud. After you have entered your email address, you will receive an email with an activation code from us. Enter the activation code and complete the registration.

After you sign up / log in you can open the Cloud Shop application and book services. Our easy to use booking assistant will help you with the necessary steps. You can also see how to book a Cloud Service in our tutorial “How to sign up & book cloud services“.

Some of our Cloud Services can only be inquired and not booked directly. To setup these Cloud Services, your individual requirements have to be queried in advance to make you a tailor-made offer.

Yes. If you want to test a Cloud Service, use our contact form.

You will receive a monthly invoice by e-mail.

For an overview of all previous invoices, our free standard app “Invoices” is available as soon as you have signed up in the SEEBURGER Cloud.

Support

Please use the SEEBURGER Service Desk for support inquiries. For general inquiries you can use our contact form.

  • System Operation & Maintenance: Secure operation, real-time monitoring and maintenance of the required EDI infrastructure
  • Trading Partner Management: Connection of a large number of new business partners by SEEBURGER (on request)
  • Change Management: Maintenance of master data (certificates), translation rules (mappings) and processing rules (on request)
  • 24/7 Incident Management: Provide 24/7 international support based on the selected service level
  • Service Management: Provision of a dedicated contact person (on request)

    Information for New Customers

    With our SEEBURGER migration tools, we not only enable you to get started with SEEBURGER – but also support you when it comes to modernization, system merging or changing the ERP system.

    The EDI Analyzer generates detailed evaluations of active partner / message relationships, message details, volumes, etc., which are summarized in a “customer system folder” (or “partner / message matrix”). This forms the basis for the planning of the migration project and enables reliable cost estimates. This is followed by either master data transfer or the use of predefined partner profiles (hybride procedure possible) and the use of the migration tool ERP Interface Check for the analysis of the ERP interfaces (including an adjustment if necessary). Finally, the Compare Service is used. This enables efficient mass testing and detects deviations that can be corrected quickly.

    There are various options for connecting your backend or B2B systems. Currently, the following connection types are offered in standard variants:

    • AS2
    • OFTP2
    • SFTP (restricted)

    Communication takes place via the internet. The SEEBURGER Cloud supports high security standards with regard to encryption and authentication.

    We also offer individual connection options tailored to the specific needs. You are welcome to contact our B2B integration experts.

    The datasheets include the technical connection data of the SEEBURGER Cloud. To connect to the SEEBURGER Cloud, please download the datasheet that belongs to the service you have booked. This connection data will also be provided by the B2B Directory and during the process of onboarding.
